📣 Meet The New Faces At Accounting Elements!

We’ve grown – and so has our brainpower. Please join us in giving a warm welcome to three incredible team members who are already making waves behind the scenes at Accounting Elements. Each brings their own blend of talent, personality, and passion for smarter, more human-centered accounting. Let’s introduce them!

Kristy Monahan, Director of Operations

Kristy is the glue (and the spark) behind our internal systems. With over a decade of experience spanning bookkeeping, tech, and leadership, she’s no stranger to turning chaos into clarity. Think of her as our in-house MacGyver—whether she’s building a framework, managing a major rollout, or pioneering our tech stack, Kristy is the powerhouse keeping us on course. Outside of work, she’s belting it out at karaoke, tending her garden, or cheering on her teens.

Payten Spencer, Assistant Controller

Payten brings precision, curiosity, and a strategist’s mindset to her role. With a background in public accounting and a love for structure, she helps our clients see the story behind the numbers. Whether she’s lifting at the gym or puzzling through a new process improvement, Payten’s thoughtful approach ensures nothing gets overlooked—unless it’s the last snack on the table (which she’s also keeping an eye on 👀).

Lauryn King Darden, Acting Accounting Manager

Along with our new employees, we’ve also begun working with Lauryn King Darden, the brains and might behind King Crown Financial Solutions and our new Acting Accounting Manager here at Accounting Elements. Lauryn comes from the audit world and has a background at both Big 4 and smaller accounting and consulting firms like ours.  When she’s not ensuring a stellar work product for our clients or keeping up on the latest and greatest news on accounting and tax guidance from the powers that be, Lauryn can be found spending time with her family and friends.

We are so thrilled to have Kristy, Payten, and Lauren on board! Their unique perspectives, deep expertise, and commitment to client success are already making Accounting Elements even stronger.

If you see them, say hello and welcome to the team!
